Joined ANSYS, Inc. in April 1999 as the Electronics Industry Specialist, responsible for the ANSYS MEMS Initiative (using simulation to develop micro-electro-mechanical systems). My role & scope then increased as Product Manager for Multiphysics, where I was responsible for our flagship/primary commercial multiphysics & electromagnetics products. I then switched gears to completely revamp & manage the ANSYS Academic Program in 2006. I developed a unique, new academic product portfolio & strategy which increased our academic footprint to become a dominant academic CAE provider. From 2009 to 2013 I was also Product Manager for the ANSYS License Manager.

Prior to joining ANSYS, I spent 9 years in the High Vacuum Instrumentation and SEMICON industries, working variously as an engineer and physicist designing high accuracy pressure transducers. I have been an ANSYS product user for approximately 22 years, and have used ANSYS Multiphysics extensively in product research & development. I was awarded two patents and published >15 scientific papers.
