Senior engineer with expertise in the solution of engineering problems by leveraging the modern tool-box of mechanical engineers (CAx and optimization). 

In the last fifteen years, I've had the opportunity to collaborate in projects for different institutions comprising distinct applications and markets ranging from the pull-in voltage prediction of a MEMS switch to the estimation of clearances for high pressure steam turbine components... without forgetting one break from industry to investigate a novel sheet metal forming technology and -in the process- obtain a PhD degree. Nevertheless, the common point among them all was the need to predict failure, improve products or processes or attain deeper understanding of physical phenomena by the utilization of numerical simulation.

My current responsibilities include advancing the innovation culture of my company, preparing proposals for CONACYT and other funding resources, identifying and developing new business opportunities, leading innovation projects but specially boosting the talent of the simulation team.
